Democracy prevailed in every move of the campaign. Political platforms of the four candidates were presented to the student voters. They were urged to think about the candidates' personality, his ideas, and his industry and dependability. And then on October 4, en- lightened citizens of CHS cast their ballots. After days of pains- taking work and keen competi- tion, the inevitable winners and losers were selected. Bruce, the new president, and Al, the new vice president, with their worthy and admirable op- ponents, Ben and Jerry, resumed their former lives. DEALS FLOURISH l Bruce Bassett: Please! Please! Vote for me Jerry Goldstine: Now it sezs here. The boys have learned a valuable lesson-how to win and how to lose-and the students have learned with them. They carried out the code of sportsmanship to the hilt, and the Singing Sands ot 1956 would like to offer them its sincere con- gratulations.
