130' , Y Left to right: John Lascoe, Warren Ormiston, Karen Wallin, Pat Slont, and Ben Howery. JUNIORS Starting their third year of high school at CHS the class of '56 chose John Lascoe as president, Ben Howery as vice president, Pat Slont as sec- retary, Warren Ormiston as treasurer, and Karen Wallin as student council representative. In preparation for financing the prom the Juniors sold Christmas trees, and as their main source of income sold magazines at the start of the year. For the first part of the social year they sponsored the New Year's Eve Dance. Their year was climaxed by the prom, the most important event of the year for both the Junior and Senior classes. Mr. McCord, Mr. Shields, Miss Burrus, and Mrs. Decker were the spon- sors Who helped them through this eventful year.
