Claaa Htatonq Gomg back a few years to 1955 we had a total of 22 members enter the Freshman class To begrn the year we were mrtrated by the Sophomores The same year we chose Mr Brandeberry as our advisor and have had htm ever smce Durmg the year Jerry Valentrne moved to Onsted Mrchrgan Bonme Place entered our Fresh man year but left rn the summer Everett Perryman and Geneva Evans entered our class makrng a total of 22 members ln our Sophomore year we sold Christmas Cards had cake raffles bake sales whrch helped our Treasury In the spring we had the pleasure of servrng at the Junior Semor Banquet Our class rtngs were ordered to be received rn the fall Dur mg that year Everett Perryman and Geneva Evans moved to Morenct leavmg us wrth a total of 20 members In our Junror year we had many actrvities we received our class rrngs and were very proud of them Charlene Pultz and Edna Grove decrded that they would rather work than frnrsh schoolrng so that left our class wrtha total of 18 members In the fall we presented our frrst play Great Ceaser s Ghost and rn the sprrng Just Ducky' Both under the drrection of Mr Brandeberry We worked very hard to make our Junror Senior Banquet a big success and a memorable event for the Semors Ralph Sloan drdn t enter the Semor year so we began our year with 17 members Our Semor prctures came on Decem ber 19 everyone was happy to recerve them We also sold Chrrstmas Cards held a ham cake raffle and sold magazmes to make money to go on our Semor Trrp We also had the coat check The proceeds from the cake raffles bake sales plays coat check annual ads and cards furmshed the money for our tr1p to New York and Washington D C On Aprrl 25 we presented our last Semor play On May 16 we held the Junror Semor Banquet Our Baccalaureate EXCICISCS was held May 18 Then on May 23 we had the Commencement Exercrses The followrng members have attended our school for twelve years Carol Bates Carol Borer Carolyn Garrow Norman Garrow Janice Pennington Robert Terry Jane Tuckerman and Ernest Wells Wntten by Jane Tuckerman 8: Carol Bates Claaa 'Poem For thts year ends the rest of our trme Harry s Jolly and full of fun Especrally when he gets hrs Ford to run Need a mechanrc call up Bob He wrll be happy to take the Job Norm thrnks girls are nice girls are sweet But farming Just can t be beat Speak of Basketball Don s the one But mentron work and he s on the run Its 10 A M rn the mormng and go look for He s probably Just climbrng out of bed Raymond thmks school ts Just fine But he would rather go skatrng any trme Need a frrend to brmg you Joy Call on Mrles he s your boy Terry works hard all the way For he hopes to be a farmer some day A Baseball man a Basketball man Last but not least Emest rs a lady s man John always has somethmg to say Whether rrs a Joke or the trme of day Mr Brandeberry our Advrsor rs he No one else 18 wiser you see Jane thrnks Cheerleadmg is fun But when asked about her favorrte boy she sard none Carolyn a grrl of medium helght Wrth a personaltty thats a pleasmg sight If you would lrke a grrl who IS wrtty and wtse Myrna Smatts w1ll take the prrze We thrnk a housewrfe Janrce hopes to be Shall we ask John or wart and see Martha fashtonable and gay Has a sweet drsposmon to keep her that way Carol Borer although she s tall and very thrn She sure enjoys the company of men Carol Bates wrth het lastmg smrle Can make good frtends all the whrle Although thrs poem rs sort of a mess The 58 Semors wtll always be the best 'Il O We're trying to write something that will rhyme, . .
