Of course to get into high school we had to be initiated, but paid the Freshmen back the following year. Rose Marie Smith left to attend Lyons, leaving us with a total of 25. In our Sophomore year to boost our class funds we had a few bake sales, and sold initials. Some of the sophomores had the pleasure of serving at the Junior-Senior Banquet. We ordered our class rings in the spring to be received the following fall. Rose Marie Smith came back from Lyons to join us again. Robert Scott decided he would rather work than start the Junior year with us. Joan and Everett Arnold left us to attend Swanton. We started our Junior year off with a big surpriseg we received our class rings. Everyone was very pleased and proud to receive them. Maybe a little skeptical, we presented our first play, Beans for Breaskfast , on March 23, 1956. We also presented a second play, A Boy Named Beulah. They were both a great success. We were very thrilled and excited to be able to give the Seniors their banquet. We chose the theme Moonlight and Roses . Immediately after the banquet we had a prom for those who wished to attend. Jeanette Greenlee came at the beginning of our senior year making the total 24 members. On September 24 we had our Senior pictures taken at Adrian, and we received them the first of December. Our Senior play, Katz Whiskers , was a huge success. The proceeds from our plays, annual, magazines, coat check, letters, pens, jello, cake raffles and bake sales furnished the money for our Senior trip to Colonial Virginia. The following members have attended our school twelve years: Clarice Bachman, Barbara Buehrer, Bill Dopp, Marie Eby, Floyd Hite, Roger Kibbee, Doris Reckner Robert Wiebeck, Linda Tuckerman, Sarah Schoonover, Sherman Sparks, Robert Wentz, Elaine Lemon and Margaret Willeman.
