CLASS HISTURY We began our hxgh school educat1on wxth Z8 members Dur1ng the year we lost Carol Jean Haush and Al1ce St1tes leavmg us a total of 26 When we entered hxgh school we though we were pretty b1g We chose Mr Johnson to be our class advxsor We took our 1n1t1at1on as freshmes but got lt back on the freshmen the followlng year We entered 1nto our sophomore year 1n h1gh spxrxts We made a lot of money on our goose raffle and sellrng Jello Durmg that year we lost Marjorre Cook and V1rg1n1a Darm but gamed two others Donelda Wlseman and Bob B1tt1nger We ordered our class rmgs whlch were to be rece1ved the followmg year Some had the pr1v1lege of servmg at the Jun1or and Sen1or banquet Durmg the summer months between our sophomore and Jun1or year we showed free mov1es at Oakshade to earn some extra money and g1ve our treasury a boost Our Jr year brought forth a lot of act1v1t1es We rece1ved our class r1ngs and felt very proud We made money by hav1ng magazlne sales and raffles th1s year Dur1ng the year we lost another member of our class Donelda Wxseman In the fall we presented the play Black Mag1c' In the sprmg we gave another play called Aaron Sl1ck from Punk1n Crxk' They were both under the dlrectmon of Mr Johnson for the semors As 15 the custom we decorated for commencement and Baccalaureate We entered our last year wxth enthusxasm We thought we were kept busy before but we found out that the sen1or year was full of act1v1t1es and went very fast We had our pxctures taken October 12 and recerved them before Chrxstmas We pre sented our Sr play Touch and Go 1n the fall and our second play was ln the spr1ng We had a Donkey Basketball game rn March The proceeds from our plays annual magazmes raffles coat check and Donkey Basketball game furnxshed money for our senmor tr1p to New York We have Z5 members graduatmg and are happy to announce the followmng have attended Chesterfreld all 12 years Joann Parks Conme D1etr1ch Carl Buehrer Dale Bxgbee Gary Sm1th Don Huffman Joyce Dxsbrow Nor1eta Emmons Edward Garrow Harold Green Ruth Clark Shlrley Hxte Robert Brxll Robert Bates Jane Keefer and John Lee Class Colors Pmk and Wh1te Flowers Pmk and Whxte Carnatxons Motto Today Decxdes Tomorrow Sponsor Mr R A Johnson Wr1tten by Carol Sue Chngaman Ruth Ann Clark Dale Blgbee Robert Bull , .
