Many of these passengers bowled their way to the Regional Final Championships. Lupe Ibarra bowled a 592 to place first in the Girls' handicap division. Bert Lawson captured the Boys' scratch division with a score of 485. First honors for team scratch went to Ana , Manuel, Diana and Bert.

Complaints about sore muscles, and leg aches echoed all around the ship. Lots of practice and good training made for a very exciting meet.
