1965 Spring Dance On Friday, May 14, 1965, the Student Council sponsored its annual Spring Dance, The theme for this year Bon Voyage was depicted with colorful decorations of light blue and white. Along the sides of the dance floor were waves which gave the effect of one's being on the deck of a ship looking out over the ocean. A gangplank, erected at the entrance of the dance floor, created a feeling of walking onto an oceanliner. Music for the dance was provided by a St. Louis combo called the Du Tones.
