[k UfihiOUj of Roge t (Pttfg) Roik When Chester High School opened its doors in September 1954, it opened its heart to a bright-eyed boy who in a few short weeks had earned for himself a very special place in the hearts of his classmates and his teachers. As Fritz Roth grew in stature, there was also a growth in his friendships and in his influence for things that were gay and good. Perseverance, cooperation, responsibility, and a sense of contagious gaiety were the brightest facets of his personality. His high school activities included chorus, baseball, basketball, football, track, bowling, intramural sports, class plays, science club, and Future Farmers of America. Whatever the activity, Fritz gave his all. In loving memory we pay tribute to that spirit. May it be with us today and every day as an inspiration in all that we do. 10 —Hazel Stanley
