Buzzmg On SQA MAC S DREAM COMES TRUE House of 48 The Building Trades class of 1947 48 has been working fervently since last summer toward the completion of a magnificent prolect a full sized ranch house with all the conveniences of modern living Many of Chester s leading citlzens have been following the steady course of the construction and are looking forward to the day next spring when the house will be completed proof of the successful efforts to 1mprove Chester s school for tomorrow s better living SHOP I and SHOP II The l947 48 enrollment for Shop l is 36 boys and the enrollment for Shop ll is 22 boys Both H Snop I and Shop ll engage in mak.ng many E , 4,7 useful projects. f X f ,AMS .A 'J They also engage in sheet metal work as ' well as wood working. Before the boys can begin any project, be it sheet metal work or , 1 W, fl 1,1 'T I Q ' wood working, they must do a considerable A f , amount of drafting and draw up the plans for their projects. A bake sale was sponsored in Ianuary. One member will be chosen to join the big swarm going to the summer hive with students from other schools. The guidance by Miss Neeley was appreciated by all. The chapter mother Mrs. Robert L. Smith is 1 ery capable and that pleases the members. The future hornemakers of America are looking forward to their summer vacation for they will then enioy the honey from their activities of 1948.
