JUDGING TEAMS The judging teams, coached by Mr. Buroh, have enjoyed considerable success this year. The Land Judging team, com- posed of Bill Hippensteel, Ronald Wiley, Kenny Pratt, and Leland Beery, brought home a trophy (second place) from the district contest and then went on to place 13th in the State contest at Purdue. The Vegetable Judging Team, composed ot Carol Morford, Mary Bitzell, Bob Hippen- steel, and David Reber, participated at the Indiana State Fair and the state con- test at Purdue. In the state contest at Pur- due they placed second in their division and were invited to Atlanta. Georgia, for the National Vegetable Judging Contest. These boys have a big task before them as their predecessor, the 1956 team, established cm enviable record. Carl Taylor is the only member left on the team that advanced to the state fair. Others on the team last year v rere Dewayne Beery, Jim Alexander, and Vernon Schroll. PHOTO CLUB Charles Richards, Don Lefforge, Mr. Rowe, Bob G!dley, Ralph Krichbaum. The Photo club originated from a common desire of several students to investigate the mysteries and techniques of photography. This year {ewer students than normal have shov rn such a desire.
