ARTICLE III To the Juniors we will our inability to see the underclassmen To the Sophomores we will the use of the library so thay may be intellectually fit to graduate in a few years. To the Fresh- man class we will a pair of green stilts so that they can see what is going on in the upper classes ARTICLE IV We, the senior class will the following: To Mr. Shanahan we will a life insurance policy to protect himself from accidents caused by inexperienced physicists and chemists. To Mr. Searer we will a scrap book to jot down some of his selected jokes and stories. To Miss Adams we will a copy of How to Keep Your Husband in Love With You . To Mis3 Book we will enough books of Latin translations to supply all the disgusted Latin students. To Mr. Shultz, we will a prescription for an absolute boil preventive and cure. To Mr. Radmacher we will a copy of the traffic rules and signs for Indiana. To Miss Stout we will another seat for her car so that she may haul 24 instead of 12 people at once. To Mr. Stone, we will a copy of How To Protect Typewriters against Disgusted Typists. To Miss Shull we will a special brush to paint A's in citizenship for her students. To Mr. Miller we will a lackey boy to take the place of the present one. To Mr. Merkle we will as many water boys as necessary to cool over-heated basket ball fans. To Mr. Huffman we will a loud speaker so that he will be heard in rooms other than 107. ARTICLE V We do hereby nominate Mr. Shultz the supervisor of the school we dearly love, to execute this, our last will and testament. I, Esther Blickenstaff, will my A in art to the rest of the class who haven't taken Art two years I, Kathryn Blickenstaff, will for the benefit of future Government students, my confusion of Charlie McCarthy as Chief-G-Man of United States I, Max Bush, will my ability to drive a Ford to Robert Harrell who drives a Ford (T) I, Madelyne Bush, will my ability to arrive on time to Rose Alice Humke I, Elolse Coning, will my knowledge of when and how long to laugh to Arlene Garber I, Vincent Dowling, will my ability to do nothing skillfully to John Walters I, Tom Ebbinghouse, will my ability to make announcements from the front of the study hall to Jay Taylor, who also makes attempts I, Maxine Emerick, v ill ray hours of toil and anxiety spent on my Civics manual in the library to Arden Coon We, Robert Frieden and Norman Little, will our ability to date girls from Laketon and Urbanan to Paul and Bob Bolinger I, Marvin Garber, will my arrest and trial in Government class to all future Chester speeders I, Donald Gable, will my Wild West magazines to Stewart Hippensteel so that Chester English classes may have thrilling English themes I, Jack Garrison, will my black whiskers to Wayne Collett I, Madelene Grist, will my daily trip over the school fence by the way of the stile to brother Irvin I, Josephine Gilbert , will my secret of Bobbing around to Edna Mae Ohmart Regina Heater, will all the extra time I have in school to all the Juniors who one day will become seniors I, Betty Herrick, will ray successful cooking in Home-Ec class to Ginevra Auker. I, Ralph Hopp, will my strict posture to Lamoine Urschel I, Vernon Johnson, will a signaling apparatus for turning corners to brother Lowell so that other motorists will not smash Pop's car I, Junior Judy, will my ability to tell outside facts and jokes in class which illustrate the point to Arnold Frederick I, Wayne Johnson, will my name to the other Wayne Johnson so that he can leave out the initial R I, John Kissinger, will my ability to get up in the world to Eugene Shaffer I, Robert Krichbaum, will my witty nature to Joe Conrad I, Joan Lautzenhiser, will my lady-like manners to Marian Harrison I, Merrill Miller will my ability to draw Maggie and Jiggs to Wayne R. I, Lee Smith, will my ability to create a stand-in with the faculty to Wally Ulrey I, Lois Spacy, v ill the fifteen minutes I'm usually late to Ethel Mae Conrad v ho can always use more time I, Arden Shaffer, will my peck of Hybrid seed corn to anyone who can shuck corn faster than I I, Arden Taylor, will my position as postman between Dwight Morris and Betty Rose Blickenstaff to anyone willing to take over the job I, Dallas Vergon, v ill my sudden out-bursts in class to anyone else who can get away with it. I, Mary Ellen Weddle, will my job as librarian to Betty Reiff with the hope that she will have success helping the freshman, sophomore, and junior boys pick out books
