After a restful summer we all came back with several additions from St. Columba's and other schools to be freshmen under the direction of Mr. Hoag. Daniel Burrows was our class president, and we made attemps at new things, -- we put on our first dance. lt proved to be quite an experience with all the diligent workers in our class. We were all anxious for the year to come to a close so that we could be sophomores, especially Mr. Hoag. As sophomores we were very fortunate to obtain a new member of the faculty as our advisor, for Mr. Tomcho took the job as attendance officer, for some reason or another, I wonder why? From En- gland Miss Fricker came to be out homeroom ad- visor. Tony Fichera was our president and, under his leadership, we put on our second dance. Those funds were really mounting up for our senior trip, everyone was thinking about it, for the time was coming closer and closer, Our junior year was quite an experience for all of us, and Mr. Manson, the new History teacher, gladly accepted us as his homeroom. Many new ex- periences fell upon us. Many were thinking about college, M.r. Dillenbeck broke us in early by letting us sell candy bars this year. And the big event of the junior year fell upon us, The junior Prom. The Hambletonian Ball, as it was called, was put on inspite of the little difficulties we had. Our only advice to future juniors, start planning about two years ahead of time. Ah, at last we're in our Senior year and Mr. Dillenbeck is helping to guide us into the future as our advisor. My, our class is working harder than ever to get to Washington, three months have gone by and we're still selling candy. fWould anyone like to buy a box? just see any member of the senior class. Q Play practice proves to be quite an episode for everyonel by the time we get through putting on this play, Mr. Hoag will really have a light head of hair. Mr. Dillenbeck is being quite patient with us, if it only lasts, we'll make it l'm sure. Five months left and then we'll all be embarking on separate roads into the future. All in all, we'll regret leaving C.H. S., for it has been our home for 13 years. We, the Senior class, would like to extend our thanks and best wishes to all those who have contributed in making us better students and citizens. We can only say that this was a time that we can consider one of the building blocks of ou.r lives and hope that the rest will be as prosperous. THE CLASS IN 1966: 1st ROW: T. Fichera, J.
