The following weekend the team traveled to Fairfield where the even- tual state champion Eagles handed Chester their first loss of the year 27-0. The loss hurt the squad much more than the 3-1 record showed. It stole the confidence they hod worked for by being shut out so badly. On Homecoming night the following weekend, the team was drained of more confidence os they lost to Simms in the final seconds on a penalty 14-7. On October 8 the Coyotes come bock with o 27-6 victory on senior night versus the Cascade Badgers. Chester hod problems during their last two outings in the '82 schedule. In Harlem they were downed 18-6 by the Wildcats, and ended up short to the Panthers of Valier 16-0. Next year the Coyotes again will be quire a bit smaller than other reams in the conference. However, with hard work and full determination the team should be contenders. FRONT ROW: Don Wooley, Ass't. Coach; Kelly Wooley. T. Kolstod, G. Grammar, J. Albee, T. Kohrmari Cleon. 5.
