Defense Defense was the name of the game for the Coyotes as they played well in all but one game. The Coyote defensive backfield, the best in the con- ference, made its opponents use the running game instead of the passing game. This helped the Coyotes in many games. The defensive line, who was out weighed in all the games, also did an outstanding job. Defense gels set against Belt Gar finds time to perfect his hike. Shan n takes a break. DEFENSE: KNEELING: S. Offense Even though the season record does not suggest a good year, the Coyotes did exceptionally well. With Coach McCormick’s strategies followed closely, few mistakes were made in offensive play, the most complicated aspect of the game. With the passing T. Minnehan to D.
