In Memory Of Two Classmates The Senior Class of 1968 dedicates the 1968 Coyote to the late Jenny Keith and Kenneth Brady, our friends and classmates. Ken died May 29, 1966, in an airplane accident. He had just finished his sophomore year. He will be long remembered for his athletic ability and his partic- ipation in school events. Jenny died from injuries received in a car accident April 7, 1968. She was just finishing her senior year and was a very active student. Jenny will be remembered as being a scholastic leader of her class. As we dedicate this annual to Jenny and Ken, we are reminded of the uncertainties we face from day to day. It challenges us to do our utmost to make good use of each day. In their memory we dedicate this poem: There comes a time for all of us When we must say good-bye But faith and hope and love and trust Can never, never die, Although the curtain falls at last Is that a cause to grieve? The future's fairer than the past If only we believe And trust in God's eternal care— So when the Master calls Let's say that life is still more fair Although the curtain falls. Kenneth Brady 3

Superintendent's Message To the graduation Class of 1968, I would like to express congratulations for attainment of this level of edu- cation and my most sincere wishes for the future. 1 hope that you have found your years spent in the Chester School System not only educational but also in- spiring for your future vocation. Your graduation does not bring an end to your education for future life, but has only been a base or stepping stone to the different areas of society, where each of you will play an important role in its specialized makeup. You will have memories, both good and bad, of the past 12 years of school; however, I hope that you will use the experience received hereto help obtain the goals which each of you have set. The motto which you selected as a class, With the ropes of the past, we will ring the bells of the future , expresses the need for you to make use of past experiences, but only as a foundation for the future. I hope each and every one of you are willing to use your acquired knowledge and abilities to accomplish your desires to the fullest extent. SUPERINTENDENT CON E. MURPHY High School Principal: Glenn Pearson Secretary: Mrs. Margaret Burkhead Board of Education SEATED: Mardell Zorn, Clerk; Con Murphy, Max Brown, Chairman; Helen Aaberg.
