TIME: Friday afternoon, 3:40 PLACE: Chester High School SCENE: Discarded gum wrappers, sunflower seeds, desks up- side down, muddy floors and blackboards white with chalk dust. ACT n TIME: Monday morning, 9:00 PLACE: Chester High School SCENE: Desks in straight rows, floors shining and blackboards ready for that first lesson. This is the scene of our school every week. Who is this, that does this hard task of making the school ready for the next week? Who is it that has the school ready every September for its occupants and who keeps it in this fine condition through nine months of wear and tear every year? Who keeps the hedges trimmed, the grass cut and watered? Who shovels the snow on the cold winter mornings? The answer to these questions?? Every student from the greenest freshman to the mightiest Senior knows the answer to all these questions. Mr. Jensen, known to all of us as Walt, is the one who deserves the credit for keeping old C. H. S. in such condition. Walt has seen twenty-three senior classes graduate from Chester Schools. For the fine work he has done during these past twenty-three years, we the senior class do ded- icate this annual to our custodian and friend, Mr. Walter Jensen.
