Our Future Farmers Really Have Green Thumbs We are a part of that great vital group of American agricul- turists who provide food for our total population and foreign aid. Our school offers a three year course in the training of agri- cultural science through vocational agriculture. Our students have supervised farming programs on their individual farms which include every agricultural enterprise grown in Chester County. The purposes of our courses are: 1. to develop competent, ag- gressive, rural and agricultural leadership, 2. to create and nurture a love for country life, 3. to strengthen the confidence of farm boys and young men in themselves and their work, 4. to partici- pate in Worthy undertakings for the improvement of agriculture, 5. to develop character, train for useful citizenship, and foster patriotism.
