PREFACE The most memorable year of all for every student is the year he graduates. Through the years each class looks longingly toward the time it too will be honored Seniors. Our class is not different. But now that the time has arrived and is almost past, we discover that we shall leave, not gladly, but reluctantly. We have savored every single event. We have stored them all carefully in our memories to call forth again in some future time when we glance back over our shoulders, and reminisce. Remember the very first day you entered Chester High as a Senior, you held your head a little more proudly? Remem- ber, remember, remember . . . but man's memory is not without imper- fections, and we realize the need of something tangible to prod our recol- lections. This is the reason the Certrian was originated in the first place. This year the Cerzrian Staff has tried diligently to capture not only the scenes and faces, but also the very essence of our beloved school. If we have suc- ceeded in this, we will feel we have not fallen short of our goal. In the years that lie ahead, fate will carry many of us in opposite directions. It is the hope of the staff of the 1959 Ceifrian that this book will remain a vivid memorial to our years together as the Class of 59. People Activities Sports Features
