MR. MARION G. PRATT PRINCIPAL FACULTY It is with a great deal of pleasure that we present to you our faculty. Even though we constantly hear in these modern pro- gressive days that the students are of first importance always, we realize that a good faculty is the first essential for a good school. We students in Chester High feel that our faculty is second to none. Our teachers are specialized in their particular Helds and do their best to teach thoroughly, interestingly and enthusiastically. They are more than teachers to us. They are loyal friends and they are understanding. Many of the people whom you see on these pages have been with us for many years. They are in- valuable assets to our community and our civic and religious organizations. They go more than the second mile with us. Now of course, there are times when we feel that faculty members are rather dillicult hard-boiled problems-bent on having work done precisely and on time. And at times, too, we may not see eye to eye with them on all occasions. But given time to think things over the majority of us realize that these very stern qualities are requisites of our training. Who expects life to be the proverbial bed of roses. Our faculty tries to teach us that things worth while come only through hard honest work. We are proud that our teachers are people of high ideals, and they truly try to live up to the principles they teach. MEET THESE PEOPLE WHO ARE OUR CONSTANT GUIDES wills Miss Bailey, senior mathematics instructor, Miss Bigham, global geogikaphg and math, and Miss Chick, physics and chemistry, enioy a very raxre coflzypldreak. 1 1 wi f. l rx 'ft l MR.
