PRINCIPAL Karl Agalfs retirement in 1959 brought about an marked change in the administration at Chester High School. His successor, Charles Giles, with our new vice-principals, William Slezak and Sarah Hol- croft, find it no easy task to take over where their predecessors have left off. Our new principal, Mr. Giles, has assumed many additional responsibilities since his elevation to this esteemed position. The vice principals, Mr. Slezak and Miss Hol- croft, sharing responsibilities in their respective positions, which are innovations to the administra- tion, deal with the various guidance aspects of the school population. Mr. Slezak, a former science teacher and track coach, serves with patience and understanding, as a wise counselor in dealing with boys and their problems. Miss Holcroft, formerly a class coordinator, exercises a keen sense of reason in administering and resolving difficulties faced by the -girls. Q' 45h x O DELORES PERKINS SHIRLEY LEHMAN SARAH P.
