Honor Society Fifteen years ago, Chester High School was admitted to the National Honor Society for Secondary Schools. Since its beginning, Honor Society has insisted upon the qualities of character, scholarship, leadership, and service in its members. Furthermore, all members must maintain at least a MB average scholasticallyg otherwise they may he dropped from the organization by a vote of the faculty and committee. Only 511 of the Junior class and 15? of the Senior Class are admitted to Honor Society. The emblem of the society is a keystone set with a flaming torch with the letters C.S.L.S., .standing for the four qualifications of the society. Mr. Hartman is the adviser of Honor Society and the Chester Optimist Club is the sponsor.
