REGARD BEING HAD TO THE SEVER L Chester lligh provides for those entering the professions by offering in the college pre- paratory course two phases. the scientific and the academic. Students interested in the sci- entific phase elect mathematics and science courses: those interested in the academie phase may specialize in languages including French, German. Spanish. and Latin. The D.P.'s par- ticularly like the fact that they are free to take the subjects they wish to take, not those they have to take. Large. well-equipped biology. chemistry, and physics laboratories facilitate the study of -tvfib. - ,. v, A Latin session! Q . L I these sciences. Not only is book work carried on in them. but demonstrations are given by the instructor, and experiments are performed by the students. Science majors are offered math- ematical courses in advanced algebra, solid geometry, and trigonomctry. Those students majoring in languages study not only the native tongue of the people but also their manners and customs. Jody Ambrosino. of the third period C. P.
