The D.P.'s par- ticularly like the fact that they are free to take the subjects they wish to take, not those they have to take. Not only is book work carried on in them. but demonstrations are given by the instructor, and experiments are performed by the students. Science majors are offered math- ematical courses in advanced algebra, solid geometry, and trigonomctry.
