Now, wifh The greaf posf-war era a+ hand and fhe brighfness of new horizons before us. once again we are relying on Mr. Agcin's sound iudgmenf fo solve fhe overwhelming problems confronfing a school adminisfrafor. Problems of peace seem even greater fhan fhose of war. The refurn of fellows 'ro school from war indusfries is one problem for solufion: anofher concerns fhe war veferan. ADMINISIHAIURS Parf of Mr. Agan's fime is occupied in open- ing mail from former Chesfer l-ligh pupils now in fhe service, who wrife for franscripfs of fheir credifs. Many of fhese boys leff school wifhouf diplomas buf now realize The value of a high school educafion. Then, foo, Mr. Agan always finds fime fo chaf wifh refurned servicemen and assisf fhem in ad- iusfing fhemselves fo civilian life. Some wish fo enfer college: ofhers seelc advice regarding pos- sible vocafions. ln addifion fo fhe problems uncovered by fhe war, 'rhere is always fhe faslc of adapfing new courses of sfudy fo fhe needs of fomorrow, in fhe developmenf of which Mr. Agan will prove himself a capable leader. Mr. Agan believes fhaf fhe posf-war world is here, nof iusl' around fhe corner.
