Courses in 'lhe Vocaiional Building, which was opened in I94I, prepare for vocafional, general shop lraining, and homemaking. Academic 'rraining prepares one io enler schools of higher learning, business careers, exploraiory fields for fhe purpose of choosing a L vocaiion, and aims lo develop one's lalenis in arf and music. ln ihe fall of I945, Ches'rer's lraining expanded wilh lhe opening of 'rhe Chesier Evening School and Technical lnsliiuie for adulis and veferans wishing lo confinue or complele rheir educaiion.
