Future Farmers CHAPTER OFFICERS 1956 57 President Robert Weller Vice President Gerald Robinson Treasurer Joe Cook Probably the highlight of the school year in FFA work was the big trip to the International Livestock Show at Chicago during Thanksgivlng vacation Twenty five chapter members and two chaperones left Chesterville on Friday morning via a chartered bus from Columbus, and made our way toward our destinatlon, Chicago After one grand time of visiting the Building of Science and Industry, Muni cipal Airport, pro football game, etc we came back to dear ole Chester on a very early Tuesday morning In March of last year sophomore, Judy Denman was selected as Chapter FFA Queen and was crowned at the annual Parent and Son Banquet. Reporter Dan Jordan Sentinel Paul Nauman Adviser G B Pruit The freshman Judg1ng team of Don Chap- man, Chuck Reed, and Lowell Baxter plac ed 21st of 285 teams 1n the state in the Judging of dairy cattle last summer The Parliamentary Procedure team re ceived a silver medal in the annual Parliamentary Procedure contest Mammoth Cave, Cumberland Lake and the Cumberland Falls was the destination of 16 FFA boys and their chaperones when they took their annual summer trip At the time of this writing, are now getting ready for final tions on their Parent and Son which will be held at the end month the boys prepara Banquet, of this Secretary -------- - -- ----- Don Chapman Student Adviser--- ---- Richard Lewis
