Dear 1968-1969, Life is full of memories, expectations, and ambitions. As we as Juniors look back over 1968 and toward 1969, we recall the past with mixed emotions, and we foresee the future as a challenge. There have been many achievements over the past year. Our life as Juniors began the day we proudly marched onto our assigned wards displaying two black stripes on a cap which days before was solid white. There was our first Junior class meeting, our election of officers, our bake sales and our first affiliation. Among these memories which we all possess are also individual memories of friendships and gatherings that each Junior had experienced and which each will long remember. Day by day, hour by hour, 1969 has held something new and different for us. We started 1969 separated as a group, half on affiliation, half at our home school. But we never became separated as a class. We are growing in the understanding of our destinies as we learn to confront our problems, big or small. We attempt to reach our challenges with an open mind and enthusiastic spirit. Now our faces are turned from the past into the future. What the future holds remains to be seen, but our ultimate goal is that we become Seniors, Graduates, and then Registered Nurses. Class of ’70
