Prophecy Catskills, New York May 30, 1968 Dear Patty, I thought I would drop you a line to let you know that we made it back all right from our trip. Now to catch you up on the news of the C O Class of 1963. In preparation for our reunion I have heard from everyone and what they are doing. Well, we thought Freda Unroe would always be in Clifton Forge, but she is now in Alaska helping Glenn sell refrigerators to the Eskimos. Carol Arthur is in California with Wayne doing private duty with two sets of triplets. Can’t you remember how spastic she was on Peds! And dear ole Cookie is Head Nurse on a Pediatric Ward at U. Va. now. You know how she hated Pediatrics, Poor kids! ! Received a card from Pat Grose and she has dyed her hair black. She also sent me a ticket to her hit show at the Flamingo in Las Vegas where she is doing the latest dance. The Hitchhiker. Instead of New York, Maggie is in Africa as a School Teacher, After three years of training, can you imagine that 1 ! I saw in the newspaper yesterday where Ronnie and Patty Cooley won a trophy with their dare-devil driving in their ' 59 Ford. Good thing she ' s used to all those cuts and bruises. Karen Cooper decided she wasn ' t doing enough for man-kind, so she opened her own orphanage and has 50 little children, all under 10 years of age. Dolores and Clyde are now living in the Bahamas teaching the natives the Limbo Rock , Guess what! Pat Dotson, who would never be anything but true-blue to Bob, has just obtained her third divorce from the third Bob! Bernie is living in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her little son while ' Benny is in Germany teaching school, Mitzy is in Georgia raising her own private nursery. Can you imagine those two being separated over 1,000 miles! Dorothy Hansen made headlines at the Indianapolis Speedway when she captured the International Stock-car Races by pushing Nellie-Belle over the finish line. Remember that blonde-headed guy that Alice Faust dated in training? Well, she met up with him again, and they ended up married and live in Maine on a small farm. She is helping them build their home by working as a mid-wife. Sue Ellen is now health nurse in an all girls school. Can you imagine her without being where all the boys are ? Mary Lou said she ' d never marry. Well, she changed her mind and married an oil tycoon from Texas and is living like a queen. Edna Liptrap ' s dream has finally come true. She is now an English teacher directing speech classes. You know how she loved to talk, Judy Harris, whose main job is training turtles, runs a trinket shop and does private duty nursing with her four children as a sideline. Dot and Hootie Collins are now again at Fort Belvoir after all this time out of the service. Iknowshe must be the top-notch military nurse on the post and doing jus t what she has always dreamed. Can you imagine Millboro without me and Paul? We have moved to the Catskill Mountains and are running a ski lodge, I am a ski instructor while Paul takes care of the two children. Sure hope you. Harper, and Perry Pat will be able to come in from France in time for our reunion in July. Am looking forward to seeing you soon. Love ya ' Jean 22
