Shhh! what ' s all the commotion at that church down the street? Oh, it ' s a wedding! Let ' s get a look at the bride. Oh, I can ' t believe it - get me another drink of moon¬ shine - quick! It’s our own Nancy Keller and Earl Watkins getting married. Our Con¬ gratulations! Could the honeymoon wait until after our reunion? Weren’t we the lucky ones to be the first class ever to have our reunion on the moon. I also wonder how we rated this elegant banquet hall. I heard the rumor that our hos¬ tess had connections with the owner, a fellow called Ronnie. Now, I wonder what that surprise is Carolyn said she had for us. Who’s that she is bringing out from behind the green door? Well now we are complete - It ' s our sponsors Miss Ricks and Mrs. Black. My don’t they look relaxed and carefree. Oh, I see. Bill and Skippy made them retire September 4, 1959 because they felt that they were in line for a rest after seeing our class through three toilsome years. It was rough, wasn’t it, ladles? However, we have enough pleasant memories of our days at C. O. that we won ' t have time to talk about the rough days. Baby Pictures L. Dick S. Pivont I. Zollman P. Powell E. Grimes J. Tyree A. Prophecy Time: 1969 Place: The Moon Event: Reunion of the Class of 1959 Gee, but it is cool here on the moon today. It ' s a good thing we have these fur capes that Annamarie brought us as a souvenir from Alaska. She is pediatric nurse for a whole village of igloos up there. Who is the neat little hostess so anxiously awaiting our landing. Why it looks like - it is Carolyn Powell. We always thought she was kidding when she said she wanted to be a space nurse. Oh, no! Look, that cute couple in the bright red space ship is getting a ticket for speeding. They look familiar; maybe they are from earth, too. Oh, it ' s Johnny and Murph. Who ' s that couple in the back seat, Murph? Your twins? Well we hadn ' t heard. Congratulations! Let’s find out who this couplfe is that ' s been over there on the shore basking in moonglow. It’s Soapy and Jeanie and I do believe they are wearing wedding bands. Congratulations, kids. Oh, how cute! There ' s a couple landing on a big Mexican hat. It seems like I ' ve seen them--sure, that ' s Bob and Ella Mae. Ella Mae is now writing up state board exams for students in Mexico. These space cops are really on the ball today; there ' s someone getting a parking ticket. That sure is an odd looking space ship . It ' s built like a couch. No wonder, it ' s Ethel Mae and WOW! that handsome psychiatrist she married. Ethel is Psychiatry supervisor in Arizona now. I’m thirsty. Let ' s go over to the fountain and have a drink of moonshine. Watch out! Step back. Here comes another speed demon and in a space ship built like a horse. That may be someone from Texas. It sure is - Hershal and Laura and their one, two, three, Oh, four girls. You really did go all out for pediatric nursing, didn ' t you, Laura? Doesn’t that little space ship built like a deisel engine make you kinda homesick for C O? Let ' s get a picture of it. Wait, there ' s two couples getting out of it. Well, we should have known - it’s Sketter and Jan and Frankie and Patsy. Jan is OR. super¬ visor at C O now and Patsy is director of nursing service. Sounds like you all are really holding the fort down, girls. Look! Over there is a couple of girls dressed in moonbeams. They must be per¬ manent residents here. They ' re coming over here to join our party. Well, of course - it’s Jackie and Nancy. Jackie is doing camp nursing and private duty with Bill on the side. Nancy finally landed (or should I say mooned”?) that millionaire so she was the first to establish a school of nursing on the moon. We always knew you would make history, Nancy. Gee, that’s a snazzy white ship coming in out there now. Oh, it ' s another one of our old classmates - Iva and Waynelee and all the little Zollman ' s. Iva is the public health nurse at Lexington now. I ' ve seen it all now - check that orchid space ship landing out there made in the form of a beach umbrella and that lady in the full skirts getting out of it. Looks like - why, that’s Mary Varney. Seems she had quite a suc¬ cessful marriage and is now the director of a school of nursing in Florida.

Would you please refill that bottle, Miss Pivont? Okey! I ' ll drink it just for you, Miss Powell. Would you get my sunglasses, Miss Simmons? Get all those curls in place, Mrs. Dick. That smile seems to be contagious. Miss Varney. How’s that pulse rate, Miss Grimes? How about a back rub, Miss Powell?
