Prophecy June 4, 1967 Paris, France Dear Leota, I certainly was surprised and pleased to see you again after ten years. It really has been a long time. Bill and I have been in Paris for two years and it seemed impossible to see a familiar face after so long. Your life has certainly been interesting, you have traveled all over the world, and you say you’re still looking for the man of your life, The substantial things. I do wish you good fortune in Snake River, Idaho. Before I left for Paris, I met with some of the girls in our class, so now I will try to catch you up on happenings since we were together. My dear roommate, Libby Huggard, now has her Master’s Degree in Psychiatry and is Supervisor of Spring Grove State Hospital, and she married a dang yankee. Georgina Nicol never quite made the cowgirl movie star she often dreamed of becoming; instead, she married Ron and they have a big horse ranch in Ken¬ tucky, with three lovely children. Faye Bartley also married a Kentuckian and they live in Florida. Faye has given up nursing and has turned to a singing career, but that has been delayed because they now have a little girl. Hazel Farrar has three children and will be the Educational Director at C. O. when Miss Ricks retires. Pat Zicafoose still can’t make up her mind which Tom, Dick, or Harry it will be. She is working as an Office Nurse in Dr. LeHew ' s office in Lewisburg. Donna Davis finally decided, with the help of a three carat diamond, Marvin was the one she loved. They have been married a year and Marvin is Chief Medical Doctor at C. O., and Donna is now the Superintendent of Nurses. Elva June Phillips will start her Chief Residency in Pediatrics at C. O. this year, under Dr. Edmunds. Bill is still waiting for her. Madalyn Smith has forgotten what Nursing is, she will marry her sixth hus¬ band next month. He is R. C. Hayslett, formerly of Clifton Forge, who now owns the biggest oil well in Texas. Ruby Thomas married her little Frenchman, they live in Colorado and have two children. Ruby only does volunteer community nursing these days. Two weeks after graduation, Marion Shumate married Earl, and they have three sets of twin boys. Marion decided that Clifton Forge wasn’t such a bad place to live after all. Nona King married Otmer and they are doing missionary work in China. They haven ' t been home for three years. Joyce Mills is Surgical Nurse for her husband in their Hospital, the Twinkling Star, in Texas. She finally made it to Texas. Marion Chandler is living in Beckley, W. Va. ; she and Richard have started a nursery of their own, they have six girls. Janice Rucker lives in Covington and is doing only family nursing and says it ' s a full time job. She and Pee Wee have four children. I think that about covers our little group. I do hope all of us will be able to get together this fall for our reunion. It will be nice to see everyone once again. Bye for now-- Dallas Sutherland (Spangler)
