The Bible Study group at Chesapeake Hig School is a student involvement group which has met weekly since December thii year. The subjects of study are as varied as th 3 individuals who attend. In addition to study individual participation is also stressed. Phi Kelley of Rockwood Church is the leader an a Mrs. Wilcox is the faculty sponsor. 90

The Chesapeake High School TAG Program provides expanded educational services and oppor- tunities for gifted students that are not available to them in the general educational curriculum. Twenty talented and gifted iTAGi students Were recognized and served during the 1982-83 School year. The TAG students who participated in the Independent Study Program this year . focused on computer programming as their main course of study. 89

BOY AND GIRL STATE RUN GOVERNMENT This past summer, Anne Templeton, i i Rhonda Tawney, Carla Clary, and lisa Callebs attended Buckeye Girls State; and limmy Duke and David Gray at- tended Buckeye Boys State. It was really great learning about themselves and other people. They made new friends from all over the state of Ohio. Learning about government was really fun this way. They each lived in an imagi- nary city and participated in city func- tions and served them to the best of their abilities.
