QUIZ BOWL BUZZES IN From L to R: Sherri Sumpler, lee Cramp, Melody Hesse, Anne Templeton, Mary Carrol, Todd Thompson, lane Modlin and Mitzi Ross. The 1982-83 Quiz Bowl Team had an interesting season, early in the fall the team began practicing two noon hours a week. Practices consisted of each member submitting questions from various areas and answering the questions. The team competed against Fairlands team for trial matches and came out with an average record. The team also participated in a series of matches by WOWK-TV 13, called Hi-Q . They competed against Wayne High School in their first match and won. Unfortunately, they lost their second match to Raceland High. The original members consisted of 5 seniors; Anne Templeton, Sherri Sumpter, Mary Carroll, Todd Thompson, lane Modlin, Mitzi Ross and 2 juniors; Melody Hesse and lee Crump. Later, underclassmen were brought in to prepare for next year, they were: Doug Korstanje, Daniel Huron, Herb Rose, Alicia Stone, Lara Dedario, Susan Ionescu, and Susan Hefiner. B7
