H OMECOMIN G WEEK Activities 1981 Homecoming is a week of all kinds of fun things. The Homecoming week activities are always an important part of the fun. The activities are sponsored by the CH5 Beta Club. This year Rusty Payton, who is the President of the club, refereed the scheduled events. The events that were included in this yearis schedule, were the egg toss, three-legged race, the water balloon toss and the piggy-back race. 1. Lion Come and Rose Turley demonstrate the piggy-back race. 2. Joy smiles because she didn't break her egg. 3. Everyone tries hard not to burst their water balloons. 4. It's the mighty piggy-backers.

BUCKE YE GIRL 19 AND BOYSh STATE 1 981 Girlis and Boy's State is one of the greatest honors a high school student can receive. These students were chosen by the faculty and administration to attend State during the summer between their Junior and Senior years. 6111': State 1981 was held at Ashland College, Ashland, Ohio. These girls were sponsored by the Amelcan Legion and the Women's club. Boyb State is also selected by the administration and faculty. Boy's State 1981 was held at Bowling Green University. Bowling Green, Ohio. They were sponsored by the American Legion and the Lion's Club of Chesapeake. Chesapeake High School is very proud of these students. 1.
