H OMECOMIN G October 2, 1981 Think about a perfect Homecoming night. Homecoming 1981 was a great success. Although the Panthers were defeated by the Rock Hill Redmen, our Homecoming spirit prevailed. It was an exciting week, and the game added to the excitement. Homecoming is a time for friends to gather and for memories to be cherished. Our 1982 seniors had a great homecoming. 1. H OMECOMIN G WEEK Activities 1981 Homecoming is a week of all kinds of fun things. The Homecoming week activities are always an important part of the fun. The activities are sponsored by the CH5 Beta Club. This year Rusty Payton, who is the President of the club, refereed the scheduled events. The events that were included in this yearis schedule, were the egg toss, three-legged race, the water balloon toss and the piggy-back race. 1. Lion Come and Rose Turley demonstrate the piggy-back race. 2. Joy smiles because she didn't break her egg. 3. Everyone tries hard not to burst their water balloons. 4. It's the mighty piggy-backers.
