As the 1982 edition of the Cheeaonlan goes to press, we, the editors, would like to take this opportunity to thank the rest of the staff for all their dedication and hard work. People do not realize the effort that must be put forth in order to publish a book of this quality. The production did not begin with the start of the year. It began back in the summer before school had even begun. The staffgave up part of their summer sellingyadvertising, raising funds at car washes, and much, much more. When the beginning of school finally did roll around, there were many nerVe-racking experiences to deal with. First came the distribution of last years book to the student body, then there was the task of taking orders for this years edition, not to mention all the fund raising projects - car washes, M 8: M s, bunnies, dances, etc . 1 . Then it was time for those dreaded deadlines - that time otyear when all a! thosepages come, due. But that time ofyear has passed now -- the money was raised, the book was sold, and all the deadlines were met. It was rough and we all know: that, butitiis over now and we have somethingito be proud of.
