Front row--Bila, Ruff, Holzhausen, Chludil, Alden, Buzzard, Richardson Holt Ringler. The Student Council is a member of the National Association of Student Councils again this year. Under the direction of Mr. Ringler, the council carries out its duties through committees. The committees and the chairman of each this year are: Athletic Planning, Max Palmer, Assembly Program, Barbara Ringlerg School Party, Barbara Ruff, Civic Service and Problems, Eugene Collis, Study Hall and Corridor, Carole Holt. The membership of the council consists of five seniors, four juniors, three sophomores, two freshmen, and one each from the eighth and seventh grades. These members are elected as repre- sentatives by their respective classes. The President and vice- president are elected by the student body. Front row--Smith, Kimmel, Studer, Conklin, Bliss, Schultz, Bradford. The YLTeens, under the leadership of Mrs. Rachel Stewart, have had a very busy and interesting year. The officers for the year were: President, Laraine Conklin, Vice-President, Betty Schultz, Secretary, Darlene Bliss, and Treasurer, Charmaine Studer. The usual main event of the year was the Mother- Daughter Banquet on May 17. Other activities were: hearing speakers, doing artistic work, an initiation party held at Mrs. Stewart's home, sending two girls to the Midwinter Conference anda girl to sum er camp.
