PX Standing Mrs Stewart, Richards, Studor, Korth, Gray, Mr Blue Seated Kimmel, Rin le , Bice X f' ryfirjo wb Wilma Kimmel p aced f rst and Laura Korth second in the Oratorical Declamations, Helen Rice took first and Don Gray second in the Dramatic Declamations, Blanche Studor was chosen first and Marilyn Ringler second in the original orations, in the local Forensics Contest which took place March 16 and 17 Jack Richards was the only competitor in the extempore speak ing division This is the first year that anyone from Ches aning has participated in extempore speaking Four schools participated in the district contest held at Chesaning, April 15 Wilma Kimmel won first in the Oratorioal Declamations and Blanche Studor placed first with her Cration. Don Gray placed second in the Dramatic Declamations. The first place winners entered the regional contest at Lansing in May. The Forensics were under the direction or Mrs. Stewart and Mr. Blue. iq
