98 Teen Correspondent Each year a student is selected from the Senior Class to serve as Teen Corre- spondent. Calvin Hastings was chosen to serve as this year’s Teen Correspond- ent. Each year a youth appreciation award is presented by the Optimist Club to deserving seniors for their outstanding leadership, scholastic ability and personal integrity. Six students were honored this year. Those honored were Clara Sue Allran, Gloria Hope, Debbie Sellers, Chris Beam, Chuck Dellinger, and Calvin Hastings. Gloria Hope and Calvin Hastings received the Optimist Youth Appreciation Award for 1974.
