CLASS PROPHECY We interrupt this program to bring you a special bulletin direct from Honolulu. Two thunderjets have colided in the Honolulu airport. The crash occurred when one plane was taking off and the other was landing on the same runway. We now turn you over to that noted com- mentator, Jack Smith. We are now in the hospital room of the two pilots. Let's ask tnem for a comment. I don't know what happened. says one pilot, Ask him. How the (censored) would I know. replies his companion. Here come two pretty nurses with the pilot's dinners. After they leave we hear. Wasn't that---------? It sure was. Then what are we waiting for? And now we switch you back to the United States for the rest of the news of the day. Two weeks later the two pilots, none other than Lieutenant Bill Graham and Lieutenant Dick Heyn, leave the hospital grounds with the two nurses, Phyllis Edmonds and Harriett Hayes. Their first stop is at a night spot called Weigel's Heaven which is owned and operated by Werner Weigel who became a millionaire by selling tractors that run by remote control. As they enter the Heaven, that popular American singer, Susan Harlow, known to us as Ruthie Snyder, comes out on the stage to sing. She is accompanied by that famous Hawaiian orchestra, Art and his Royal Hawaiians meaning, of course, Gerald Gross. After she has finished her song they beckon her to their table. Their attention is then caught by a commotion in the corner of the room. A young man seems to be bothering a pretty young lady. At a second glance they see that the young man is Reggie Whiteman and the lady, none other than the noted Hawaiian fashion designer, Lenore Read. After they recover from the surprise, all eight dine together. The next day, while on a tour of the city, Dick, Harriett, Bill and Phyllis stop at a beauty salon where they see a familiar name on the shingle. As they enter the building Toni K. comes to meet them. She tells them that this is one of five such places throughout the country. How about a place to rest up over the weekend? asks Harriett. Toni replies, I know a ranee owned by one of our old classmates that isn't far from here. Anxious to see all their old classmates tney immediately hurry to the prospective spot which is, The Lazy Dude Resort Ranch owned and operated by Bevie Pitt. There they see Bevie with the Hostess of the ranch, Phyllis Whiteman. 10
