Come September they are confronted with the task of matching each of the 250 schedules with its obscure hu- man counterpart. ln an attempt to impose order on the chaos of last minute transfers, they arrange interviews. If the students do not respond to repeated notices in home- room, the counselors spread rumors of air conditioned of- fices to lure them from the deepest holes in F-wing.
