The Staff of the 1973 RAMPANT would like to express their appreciation to those who have helped in the production of this yearbook: Mr. Roy Innocenti lVlrs. Judy Buchheim Ron Bader St Cherry Hill Portrait Studio Mr. AI Bellino Mr. Robert Josephs Carl Shuman Towne of Smithville The Greatest Janitors in the U.S.A. Darryl Feldman Alan Techner Frances Barnes Barbara Berry Mr. Michael Benard Joe Segrest Roger and Pearle Our Parents Peter Reich Ed Miller Eileen Buckley Mr. Ed Collins Mike Yaffe Barrv Zidow Carol Urbach Peggy Gimmi Sharon Liftman Drew Schwartz Beverly Cooper Beth Yaffe Lions Roar Staff Dan Forgasp our Lion-Hearted Saviour The theme of the 1973 RAMPANT is the progression of a class from physi- cal to spiritual unity and how the high school experience is instrumental in that growth. The purple and white strands at the beginning of the R on the cover represent the individual students entering West. Passing through the gold knot which symbolizes the high school, the purple and white strands are interwoven with the gold. So the students come together as a class through four years of involvement in classes, sports, and special events. After graduating, the seniors are separated physically but are spiri- tually united by all the experiences that they have shared as a class at Cherry Hill West. The dividers also contribute to the theme of unity. The lion is the mascot of West, the symbol of school spirit. The different lions on each divider represent the individuality that exists in the student body. Cover design by shauna Azorsky PHRHGUN YEHHBUUKS
