Apathy came into vogue in our second year. School spirit seemed to have graduated with 'the class of '70, leaving West as colorless as student dress. We realized that Rick Chess played records and president too. Fear grew in our sophomoric hearts with the sad recognition that a senior class trip could fail. Even we were temporarily infected with the germ. Our class motto was never published and an eight loss, one win season iinxed the sale of football programs. CH Parent Think Sophs Just Great To the Editor: As the parents of a sophomore student at Cherry Hill West, we would like to commend the youngsters of this particular class. Literally hundreds of students have spent many hours this past month building their homecoming float at our home. We have encountered nothing but polite, well mannered, spirited kids. Their advisor, Mr. Josephs, their school, and the township can feel justifyably proud of them. We think they're great!
