BAND A dash of purple, a precision formation, and a series of stirring marches are the halftime fare pre- sented at football games by the Cherry Hill High School Band. Later in the year, the one hundred ten- member ensemble masters more serious music, with the Choir and Chorus, the group entertains at the Christmas assembly and the Music Festival. The Band also gives concerts for other schools and provides music for commencement exercises. Director: Mr. Burley.

Daly, A varied repertory of classical and popular music and the careful cultivation of the essentials of choral singing have made this year's Choir the finest in school history. Last spring fifty assorted voices were chosen from the junior and senior classes after auditions were held. Daily rehearsals during a regularly scheduled period have enabled this year's choir to gain the professional polish that dis- tinguishes it from the once-a-week groups of the past. Their perform- ances at the Christmas Assembly, the Music Festival, at township schools and the malls have been noted for their exceptional quality and have been well-attended and appreciated.
