I DEDICATION Two years ago a new advisor volunteered to guide the Class of l966, her smile has brightened class activities ever since. Under the personable influence of Mrs. Joan Katz, our class has intensified its unity, and every senior has come to feel his own significance as an individual. Mrs. Katz has been the inspiration and drive behind the many successful projects of the last two years. Bow days, candy sales, class banners and floats, refreshment booths - all have received her careful consideration. She was never too busy to offer a suggestion or to check an arrangement, the proms, the plays, and the yearbook, all mammoth undertakings, were never lacking her per- sonal direction. But tangible contributions tell only half the story. Far more important are the intrinsic qualities of Mrs. Katz- qualities we have admired as we have gotten to know her: kindness as she laughed with underprivileged children, optimism as she faced each problem, confidence in the ability of her students, determination to help our class realize its potential.

MRS. JOAN KATZ Mrs. Katz has made the last two years significant to us. Because of the contributions she has made to the learning that has taken place and the enioyment we have experienced, we dedicate the 1966 Rampant to a teacher, advisor, and friend, Mrs. Joan Katz.
