In September, 1961, Nlr. Robert Riley first assumed the position of faculty advisor to the class of 1965. From the Freshman Council to the Senior Senate, he has enlivened every class activity with dedication, en- thusiasm, and unfailing confidence in the success of his class. Mr. Riley's constant interest has made possible the many firsts ac- credited to this year's senior students. Newsnook, Operation Lion's Face, the Hospitality Dance, Class Banner, the 1965 Booster Club, and numerous other accomplishments ref1ect his imaginative planning, each success has been followed by proiects even more creative and useful. Yet Mr. Riley has been much more to his class. He has been spirit- working to finish scenery for the Junior-Senior Nlusical, cheering with the Booster Club at football and basketball games. He has been fun-dancing at the Junior Prom, singing the Marseillaise in French class. He has been inspiration-discussing individual problems with students, working tirelessly to incorporate almost seven hundred people into one uniHed group. These are the qualities which the Class of 1965 has grown to respect and admire. Acknowledged with appreciation and thanks, they will be for- ever remembered.

Dedication The American educational system places great value upon the development of a meaningful faculty- student relationship. A teacher inspires as well as instructs, his goal is the successful development of mature individuals who can assume useful positions in society. The i965 Rampant is, therefore, proudly dedicated to Mr. Robert Riley who, perhaps more than any other person, has molded and infiuenced the Class of l965. reusing-my l l l l 1 l lflfl at X cl P X '-lv N W till it
