For most Cherry Creek stu dents they are not only familiar they are a way of llfe l have so much homework tonight' IS one comment heard often ln the halls of Creek Not only are the classes and work demanding but It s also dlfflcult when you have to sprint from one end of the campus to the other fn only seven mlnutes However In between classes most students find time to talk wlth friends lf not ln the crowded halls many students can be found In the library at the Beach or ln West Lobby What s the big deal with West Lobby? asked one sen for All rt IS IS a bunch of DECA people who stand around ln an attempt to be cool when all they really do IS block traffic for those who have to get to class' The school s no smoking policy means that students who smoke must hang out on Nlcotlne Knoll or Smoky Hrll the patch of grass across the street on Union Avenue lze lm taking eight classes this year one sophomore said The onhf tfme lget to talk to friends IS fn between classes' Lunchtime offers a welcome break for Creek students Most upperclassmen drive to the nearby fast food joint while freshmen and sophomores are forced to walk to King Soopers Joyce s or Domino s Some brave for crazyj stu dents choose to savor the fine culsme offered by the three cafeterlas When the bell rings at 2 38 another facet of student life begins Some participate ln sports ranging from the lntr mural to the varsity level Others spend their time attending varlous club meetings and actlvltles And several students work after school to earn a few extra bucks ln some cases busy students do all three When the weekend finally comes Creek students want to party Whether that means going to a friend s catching the latest movie or going to one of several keggers In the neighborhood students are out to have a good time This lasts until Sunday night when most start their homework around 8 O0 Another week begins and student lffe contln ues Holly Hacker And then there are those who have no time to just social-
