Pep Assembly The 1986-87 Fall pep assembly was more exciting than ever. ln order to help get everyone into the spirit of the day, the cheerleaders, pom pons, and pep club sold red garters, pom pons, and ribbons before the assembly. After greetings from a red-sweater clad Debbie Taylor, members of the three groups took charge of the assembly and introduced all the Fall sports. Each team received enthusiastic cheers and yells. The girls also introduced the Homecoming king and queen finalists. Between the chants of go home, freshmen, go home! and eighty seven! the poms did a great routine. They performed to the Marching Band's energetic rendition of Fun, Fun, Fun. The cheerleaders led each class in the traditional Victory cheer, with the seniors' yelling by far the loudest. The highlight of the pep rally was definitely watching the football players sing and dance with the pom pons, They performed as enthusiastically as the girls to the song, Love of a Lifetime. Now that's school spirit, and part of a pep assembly we'll never forget! IN: T A 5 mtg Tiff 'N .L iw ..., Qijiz, Tix ui -tiff 1 , T it Y , .ogy-1 ft in-ii. 4 5 l J re Q se!
