Dear Diary, September 29, 1986: Aaarrghl, I moan at my locker. Yes, as you guessed, it is Monday. A month into school, and I'm already bored with the monotony of school life. It may be early, but I'm already looking forward to graduation and college. Oh well, I guess I will just have to tough it out for the next eight months. The boredom isn't the whole reason for the moan, it is also the first day of school after Home- coming, and it seems like everyone is exhausted from the long weekend, especially me. But while I'm ready for graduation and the future, I see my broth- er and his underclasmen friends enjoying their stay at Cherry Creek. They are finally getting involved , and making an impact on their beloved school and enjoying it. l also notice the Juniors beginning to fret over the college process, with P.S.QA.T.'s and tif new tif. inf M Wifi 'Wh wwh W fit tougher academic courses. From what you have read so far, it seems like fall is a slow time at Cherry Creek, but that, of course, is not true. It seems like there are more events planned in the fall than any other season. One of my personal favorites is Okto- berfest. Even though I usually have to work most of the time, at various booths, I still find a way to have a great time Not only is Oktoberfest great fun, but there are also other fall events such as State Cham- pionship sports events, pep rallies, and musical productions.
