Nancy Hendrix Leadership and dependability play only a small part in describing the fine, versatile Senior Class President—Nancy Hendrix. Her bright personality, hand in hand with her shining school spirit, have made her play an important part with the “WAR- RIORETTES” for the past four years. Along with being Feature Editor of the Annual, a member of the C-CIub, Tri-Hi-Y, and Beta Club, she has maintained an impressive academic average. The vote of the fac- ulty echoes the feelings of the student body in elect- ing Nancy to Who’s Who. Frances Burt Frances Burt’s fascinating personality makes her one of the best liked students at Cherokee High. She is a hard persistent worker who is always available to do more than is required of her. She devotes much of her time and effort, to the various activities in which she participates. These include being Feature Editor of the Annual, a Varsity Cheerleader, Member of the Tri-Hi-Y, C-Club, and the Key Club’s Sweet- heart. This year she was given the distinct honor of being chosen Miss Sequoyah. She is truly deserving of this selection to Who’s Who. 20

Patsy Hester Palsy is well known by the students at Cherokee High because of her friendly personality. Her talent has been revealed by her representing Cherokee at All State Chorus in her Junior year, and by her being in the Madrigal. She is President of F.H.A., a mem- ber of the National Honor Society, and an alternate varsity cheerleader. These activities, as well as others, have played a large part in Patsy’s becoming a mem- ber of the 1965 Who’s Who. Bob Blalock As President of the Student Council of Cherokee High. Boh has demonstrated his true leadership abil- ity. Bes’ides his ability of leadership, he possesses the qualities that make him a versatile person. Always interested in the student life at Cherokee, he has taken an active part in the school’s activities and organizations. His spirit and his cooperation with his fellow students make him one of the most popu- lar seniors. These qualities that Bob has make him the exceptional person and student he is. 19

Dianne Humes Dianne has used her leadership and scholastic abilities to make her one of the most outstanding seniors. All through high school she has maintained a high academic average. As president of the Na- tional Honor Society and Vice-president of the Sen- ior Class, she has demonstrated her leadership. She is active in school activities and various organiza- tions. The quiet refinement of her actions has won her the esteem of her fellow classmates. Lurry Edmondson Larry is known for his clever wit which is well demonstrated by his position on the Debate Team. He is President of Mu Alpha Theta, Treasurer of the Beta Club, and a member of the Science Club. His cooperation and leadership with the people who work with and around him has helped to place Larry in this year’s Who’s Who. 21
