Who's Who To be elected to Who’s Who means a senior has achieved what is perhaps the highest honor obtain- able at Cherokee High for a student. These eight seniors, elected by the faculty, have exhibited fine qualities, such as integrity, loyalty, and perseverance, which will be great contributions in producing the leaders of tomorrow. The 1965 Sequoyah salutes this year's members of Who’s Who. Tommy Wimbish Surely a place is reserved in the honorable Who’s Who Section for the Editor of our 1965 Sequoyah— Tommy Wimbish. Although Tommy has had many heavy responsibilities placed on his shoulders, he has managed to maintain one of the highest academic averages in the Senior Class. He is known for his dependability and his willingness to work. His many accomplishments have earned him this place of hon- or in Who’s Who Joan Goddard It takes more than a friendly smile to become a member of Who’s Who. Joan possesses this as well as other outstanding traits. She is Secretary of the National Honor Society, a member of the Science Club, Mu Alpha Theta, and a member of the Tri- Hi-Y. Joan has thus become a prominent member of the Senior Class, which entitles her to be elected to Who’s Who. 18
