YTfGOUlID1C1lll Promotes Christian Activities When five clubs seek to carry out one purpose, it is neces- sary to have a co-ordinating group. The Y Council provides a way for the Tri-Hi-Y and Hi-Y clubs to work together and therefore function more effectively. This Council is composed of the presidents, the advisors, and the representatives from each club. Once a month the group meets to discuss projects of each club. In this way, the clubs know one another's undertakings and repeated projects are avoided. At times it is more effective for all the Tri-Hi-Y and Hi-Y clubs to combine efforts in a certain project. Thus the YH Council not only serves as a co-ordinating factor between the clubs, but it also promotes Christian activities in home, school, 1 and community. Miss Benham, advisor, and Lela Belle Howell, President, study j outline as reference for one of the Y sponsored projects. l 22
